He is an active member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, as well as a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, which is a prestigious honor given to the association’s most accomplished members. He is currently the Chairman and Medical Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Wellington Regional Medical Center located in Wellington, Florida.

He graduated in June of 1993 and began his residential program at Case Western Reserve University at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation within the MetroHealth Medical Center later that year. He was named Chief Resident within his residency program in July of 1995.
